The organic movements are a special feature, transition is the keyword here. We were interested in creating a seamless, immersive experience, nothing should be static or fixed, allowing the user fluid movement through all the information. The core content areas are: the Brief, the Jury, and the Winners. The challenge was to create the several layers of interconnected navigation while still keeping the CD-rom clear and easy to use. Starting with any number displayed, you can look at the winners, scroll horizontally through all winners, find an interesting piece of work, look at which brief it was from or find out who judged the brief. Users can also check out the winners from brief 3 and click on the images in the jury area to see talking heads! The organic way in which the elements move also gives the interface an almost tactile quality, making the elements feel heavy or light. |
