ma-ho is a portfolio website for the photographer Martin Holtkamp,famous for its people portraits from the music and fashion industrythe site shows both free and commissioned work (for advertising)driven by Martins inspiration by people and places.Martin is based in both London and Tokyo.
The design concept is that of an interactive light box, an elasticinterface, which works by means of dynamic sliders. User can dynamically and quiteprecisely slide images onto the light box.
To compensate for the long loading times for high resolution images over slow internet conncetions, the light box loads images in the background while already loaded images can be viewed.
