As a platform for information and debate on all things green, with emphasis on the organisation's environmental activities, Greenpeace Digital UK's re-designed corporate identity expresses an open approach to technology but retains the original brand identity of campaigners for an eco-friendly tomorrow. In addition to a new layout design colour scheme, and interface, their website features a series of animated sequences ('idents') designed to introduce the refurbished identity. An original logo brings the established Greenpeace trademark into the digital world, and a seven-minute documentary examines the Greenpeace-sponsored 1999 Glastonbury Festival. Games and other Flash features with an environmental slant are regularly added, including the shoot-'em-up Arctic Action, which is aimed at BP's continued exploitation of Alaska's oil resources. |
