One of a series of promotional trailers AE created for the Greenpeace Digital site. The idea behind these pieces is to advertise departments within the organisation. They are led by original animation combined with a strong audio element.
Sound is a key feature, therefore AE has been collaborating with Popeye aka Paul Vincent, a London based sound artist, to create new + unusual background loops for each trailer individually.
The first trailer is for Greenpeace's Active Supporter Unit. It is a simple but visually strong explanation of what it is to be an active Supporter and [hopefully] enthuses viewers to get involved! The animation builds up by describing simple tasks like e-mail campaigning and ends with direct action scenes - probably the toughest way of supporting Greenpeace.
